The 2012 Maglite Rechargeable unit has been upgraded to include a new Halogen globe- a new electronic switch and operates using an environmentally friendly NiMH battery pack. The switch has been based on that of the Maglite ML125. The switch features four user configurable function sets that may be personalized for quick access according to your preference. There are 5 modes to choose from; Full Power; Power save; Strobe; Momentary and SOS. Each function set only has 3 modes which can be accessed using the “Quick Click” system. Function Set #1 for example has Full Power with one click- Power Save with two clicks and Strobe with 3 clicks. The Magcharger features an easily replaced high-intensity halogen lamp which is safely secured inside the tail cap. Focus the beam with a1-4 turn- (cam action focus- spot-to-flood). The charger operates from either A-C or D-C current. The highly polished- scientifically designed metallic reflector withstands extreme temperatures. High quality tempered glass has been used for the lens. The exterior has a durable extra hard anodized finish. All Magchargers are Individually serial numbered. The ANSI NEMA FL1 rating when using the NiMH battery pack is 240 Lumens with a beam distance of 434 metres and a run-time of 2 hours on high and 6 hours 45 minutes on 25% power saving mode. The Maglite Magcharger has a length of 31.97 centimetres and weighs 907.18 grams with the battery pack. The system includes the Magcharger flashlight - torch- NiMH Battery pack- charging cradle- 220V AC connector- 12V DC connector- 2 wall mounting brackets and a spare globe in the tail cap.
