With the Constant Current circuit, the Lumen rating is 1,800 lumens for 3D, 4D, 5D and 6D Cell Maglite flashlights.

The run-time will be longer with the 6D Cell compared to the 3D Cell.

Lumens decrease as the voltage of the batteries decrease.

Installation:

Unscrew and completely remove the head of your Maglite flashlight.
Hold the head of the Maglite upside down (Lens facing the ground), unscrew the bezel (Face-cap) from the head. Ensure that you do not drop the lens, reflector and or the O-ring from the face-cap. Remove the
Take your new 1,800 lumen LED Module and place it into the head of the Maglite. Make sure that the top of the LED module sits flush with the top of the head. (Older versions of the Maglite you may require that you remove the extra ring on the base of the LED Module so it will sit flush with the head. The extra ring will just slip off the bottom of the bulb).
Place the lens over the top of the LED Module’s reflector and screw the bezel back on to the head.
Remove the bulb retaining ring and bulb from the switch (if you have the bi-pin bulb you can press down on the tower to eject the plastic bi-pin bulb holder).
Screw the head of the Maglite back on to the body until it is "snug", do not overtighten.

Changing Modes:

From the ON position you can click the switch quickly (ON-OFF-ON) to ramp through the light modes.

The light will cycle through High, Medium, and Low modes.

When you get to the brightness mode you want stop clicking.

Allow the light to remain on for 5 to 10 seconds, the mode that it has been running in will be memorized.

When you next power on your Maglite it will be in the mode you last used for 5 to 10 seconds.

TAKE NOTE: Spot to Flood function is Lost, however you will have a wide-angle beam that will shine 260 meters in the right conditions.

This LED module will fit Incandescent Maglite C and D Cell Flashlights with the serial numbers beginning with either;

“3…; 4…; 5… or 6…” (Old version) or

“D3…; D4…; D5… or D6…”
